Mindful Mama meditation

In this workshop Lauren will share about her struggle with postpartum depression and anxiety that followed the birth of her second child. She will share how a trip to a local bookstore changed everything for her and sent her on an amazing spiritual journey. Her teaching will include simple tips for self care in your daily routine and making time for yourself in the busy throes of motherhood. At the end, Lauren will lead everyone through a short 4-5 minute guided meditation that you can easily use at home as both a daily practice and for relief during stressful times. If you feel like your life tends to be chaotic and you need to take control back for your own happiness, this workshop is for you.

Lauren is a 35 year old married mama to two little ones. Her spiritual journey began following a difficult struggle with postpartum depression that started around December 2016. She knew that she needed to do something to change her life, for herself and for her family.

Lauren has always had a passion for helping others by sharing her own experiences. She was born with Spina Bifida and has used a wheelchair since she was 20. While most would consider many of these situations hardships, she sees at them as blessings. The Universe and God do not give us things we can not handle, no matter how hard it may seem at the time. Every struggle that she has endured in her life, thus far, has left her stronger, more grateful, and more blessed than ever before.

Spiritual Meditation Mama is about changing lives, specifically the lives of other Moms. Lauren wants to help you live a better, happier, more fulfilling life. She believes that you can do it as long as you want to, will accept the help, and are willing to put in the hard work and dedication. You will not heal overnight, but you will heal with time.

Lauren has a BS in Healthcare Management,  is a Spirit Junkie Masterclass student of  NY Times "Best Selling Author", Gabby Bernstein's, has studied angel cards, is a Young Living Essential Oils and Lifestyle Brand Enthusiast and most recently (in April) received her Reiki Level 1 Certification.
